Although the dimensions were given, the wood on this star piece is a little thinner than I expected. But it fits together well and is a really a cute accent. No paint flaws on mine. Once you have it, and then look back at the photo; you realize it is accurate.They would be great as centerpieces for smaller tables during a patio party. Or several for a long able. I might order a couple more. I plan to put mine on a silverfish charger platter and run a light star garland around the base for a centerpiece. The idea of this star is very versatile and I'm glad I got it!
Pros: perfect theme accent, cute as a stand-alone, folds up flat for storage

I used this as a tree topper for a patriotic Americana tree. Looks great!
Pros: met my needs cute
Cons: had to drill a hole in the bottom to use on tree
