I gave this as a Christmas gift to my son's Kindergarten teacher and wrote a brief note on the card thanking her for making a difference to my "little one". She was very touched.
One thing, it almost looks silver in the picture, it is clear but beautiful.
I also ordered from your site black triple satin ribbon combo and the silver small starfish for necklaces and the girls I gave them too absolutely loved them. I gave one to this teacher also and she wears it everyday :)

Bought this as teacher gifts. I was disappointed because the cards with the starfish "legend" were slightly bent and edges were curled up. The boxes they came in were bad condition too. So I had to purchase seperate boxes to put them in. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!

Bought this for a friend who had a starfish theme at her wedding. I think it will be a perfect little gift with lots of meaning and not a lot of cost!

As others have reviewed, I purchased several of these to give as gifts, figuring at $5 each if they were "cheesy" I wouldn't be out much money. They're NOT cheesy at all - delicate looking but fairly sturdy. I plan on ordering more. Showed my son the card that comes with it, and he thought it was "awesome" (he's 11). :-)

I looked on line and found the beautiful Starfish.
I purchased 30 as extra Christmas gifts. The Starfish story is an additional bonus. I only opened one box to look at the starfish. I was very happy with the quality.
I can not wait to give these at Christmas.
