I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of this item - had really expected it to be lightweight. I bought several on sale, and all but one person who got one from me LOVED it! To the reviewer who said the tree didn't play any tunes: the switch goes both ways - one way plays the tunes while the star flashes, and the other doesn't play tunes while the star lights up. I agree that the music is QUITE loud, but overall, I love this tree, and it stays on my desk all year around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Received this tree broken. Looked beautiful but the base was shattered, so didn't get to see the lights or hear the music. I couldn't re-order as it is out-of-stock. However I am not discouraged, still planning on ordering it as soon as it's back in stock.
Pros: beautiful, nice size

Love it!!! I have been looking everywhere for something like this and bought it immediately before it got sold out. Everything works perfectly and is heavier than I had anticipated. Will leave out all year long in our Arizona home.
Pros: perfect for southwestern decor very unique.
Cons: music is rather loud.

The perfect gift for a pepper lover/grower. This was a gift for a family member and his reaction when he saw it was priceless! Although the music is loud, playing it is optional and the color changing lighted star is a great addition. The tree is well made and heavier than I expected.
Pros: attractive and clever
Cons: music too loud

Perfect size, color, quality. Music is a little funky. Like the changing colors of the star but in order to get lit, music has to play. I still like it.

My mom has a friend that lives in Arizona and she saw this in the catalog and thought it was cute. I didn't know how nice it would be because of the price but we were both very surprised when it came. It is really cute and very nicely made. It is going to fit in her friends home nicely and it is something sher can keep out all year round, not just the holidays.
