I love nightlights. I bought it thinking that it would be a spooky house. It is indeed lacking in the spooky feel. But the detail on the house and the amount of light that it gives off is amazing. The socket insert was white and not black. No difference for me. But a detail if you are going according to the picture. It is beautiful and I enjoy the light. I threw away the box the very next day. I knew that this light will be a permanent decor in our home.
Pros: Assembly, quality, Age appropriateness, very bright, lots of detail

Came in the mail yesterday. Very disappointed. The ring on the bottom of the house, where the bulb fits in. . . . the slots where the bulb fits in are not positioned right, so, when you plug in the light, the front of the house if facing sideways PLUS the light fixure does not sit in the house securely or evenly, house tends to lean quite a bit. I'm not going throug the trouble of sending it back. I'll find a way to use it with my other Halloween decorations.
Bummer. . . . . . .

The first nightlight did not work. Then the cream colored part in which a lightbulb screwed broke. We could have super glued it, but since it did not work we sent it back. The 2nd one held together and did not work. I just could not go through it all again so we worked on the place where the bulb goes and pulled up the metal thing and got it to work.
It is really cute, but ended up being a lot of work.

I purchased this Halloween night light for my son and it is a cute and spooky little decor. He loved it. It gives off just enough light and the detail on the house was awesome. However, the base of the night light was a little tricky to use. It is all one base so there is no room to adjust or turn to fit the size of holes for your outlet so, if you have different size holes it will not work. Other night lights I have purchased in the past have had that option to switch it. But, overall it is a great little night light. My son loves it!
Pros: love the detail, cute and spooky
Cons: base switch does not turn to fit every outlet hole

This is such a cute light that I bought for our guest bathroom and as soon as I got it in the mail, I put the lightbulb in, plugged it in and it didn't work! I keep it because it's a cute decoration, but I wish I would have returned it for a working one.
Pros: adorable decoration
