My Aunt mentioned to me on the phone that ever since she saw an owl in a tree she was fascinated by them while I was looking through the catalog. I read her the mat and she really thought iit was cute so bingo Christmas gift and she loves it.
Cons: can't keep tge cat off it as a scratching post
