Got the Red/White/Blue and the Green/Yellow/Orange bottles and the Bottle tree. The bottles do not fit on the bottle tree.

A fun find for my garden. I too have wanted a bottle tree for a long time but found most to be very pricey. My tree went together easily and looks great in my garden. I used different sizes/weights of bottles and I haven't had any problem with the tree staying upright. Well worth the money spent.

Having read reviews prior to this purchase helped me understand how to anchor the tree to insure its stability. The base is inserted into a longer copper pipe, about 6 inches, and placed into the ground. I also placed 3 large rocks around the base. It looks great in my flower garden.
Pros: beauty, value
Cons: delicate construction

I was disappointed in the sturdiness of this bottle tree. The tips described as "glass marbles" are actually plastic. The branches, which are inserted in plastic slots, did not all fit in easily as the holes are not uniformly large enough. Although there are many branches on which to place bottles, the tree does not remain upright with more than a few bottles. My tree toppled over several times. I'm sure this would work better with fruit.

Bearing in mind that the beads are plastic, this is the neatest appearing "tree" for the price. It's metal and if you hold onto the base as you bend the pieces with the beads outward they won't break off as some others have had problems while doing. There's room for plenty of bottles and the height is fine. I love it. Needs some additional anchoring.

The product description says it is metal with glass marble tips. The marble tips are not glass, they are plastic. The picture shows the branches with the marble tips as being more relaxed than they are, I'm afraid to bend them because they could break off, I'm hoping that after time in the yard they will relax and look more like the picture. I haven't had the time to get the tree "planted", but am looking forward to doing so. I think it's going to be beautiful. I am going to hammer a pipe into the ground that will be big enough around that I can slide the base of the bottle tree into the pipe, this way I can pick it up and move it if necessary. It's a beautiful tree for the money. I'm thinking that if I am successful with this one, I might by another one for the back yard.
