The metal cutout back piece looks like it was painted by a kindergarden class. My moose had spots!!!! For some reason he has an extra set of nostrils in his hip. The egdes on the metal back are very rough.
Pros: price
Cons: poor quality

Buyer be warned

Very poor quality. The shelf and tree form were acceptable, but the paint on metal backing was ugly and wrinkled. The top of the tree was bent down to save room but also cracked off the paint.
Threw it away. Too much trouble to pack up and return.

unlike some of the other reveiws, my shelf looked great. paint colors look great and the shelf was a nice stained color all over, top n bottom... easy to put together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Total disappointment. It has bad painting on the metal. and bad staining on the actual shelf part. And only the top is stained. I'm returning.. it's totally not what was promised in the pictures :(

I was a little disappointed in the quality of the shelf. If you hang it on the wall the underside is not stained or painted and stands out. It was a great idea and looks great in the book. I love everything moose so I will still display this item in my home.

I don't know what shelves others got,but mine was horrible! None of the colors matched,bright green on side panels, murky brown green tan striations on bottom shelf, and ugly rusty avocado green brown/orange for back panel.There were pieces of paper or something stuck all over it like it was put on a paper while wet,the wood where the screws were to go in was splintered..just generally a cheap, poorly made item.Called for refund.Would not recommend!

This is a really unique shelf, with a rustic, cabin themed look. I am pleased with the quality and look of the shelf, and I had no trouble with the simple assembly. It can't hold much weight though.
I would recommend this to a friend!
