put the mug in the microwave to heat water for tea, like i normally do, and burned my hand taking in out! nice red mark for the day. the handle was HOT! that's never happened with any other mug i've put in the microwave.

We have a gal who always fills in when our regular Sunday School teacher is out-of-town. She has a collection of these mugs and this was the perfect way to say thank you. Couldn't find one imperfection in the mug...the paint job was perfect--She loved it!
