While I did not follow the kit instructions, so I can't speak to that, I am very pleased with this purchase and here is why... The watch faces alone are worth every penny that this kit costs! The beads that accompany the watch faces are very well made, brightly colored, and have quite a bit of detailing on them. The star spacers and round beads are a pretty silver and had no tarnishing. There is a nice amount of variety to the lampwork beads, not a crazy amount of one over another. I used beading wire and a toggle to make a watch bracelet. While I didn't try it, I'm doubtful that the elastic would hold this watch together for very long. Once it is put together it has a great deal of weight to it. I recommend testing it out before you wear it or sell it to make sure that the elastic is strong enough.
