These clear stamp gave nice sharp detail. I found that when I used each one for the first time, the images weren't as crisp. But I remembered I'd heard a tip for using BRAND NEW clear stamps, run an eraser over the surface to "roughen" it up. Worked like a charm and they inked up really well.
