I bought this craft for everyone to do at the church Christmas party. I added a tag I printed out on pretty paper and laminated. We had a lot of fun making them. We had everyone from 5 years old to 60 in on the project. The clear beads make a very classy looking snowflake, and are pretty next to the lights on the tree. Some made more than one so they could give them to people they wanted to invite to our Christmas candlelight service. Some of the kits did have a bead or two missing, but this was taken care of by the extra pieces that were included. The wire is thin enough to cut with fingernail clippers, and makes putting the beads on a piece of cake. But it is sturdy enough to hold up well.
I bought this for 8 year old Brownies to do with nursing home residents. I needed something that would take some time, yet be easy enough for the elderly residents. Some of the residents had a little difficulty, but the girls helped them. This craft was perfect. I took the advice of another reviewer and bought additional colored beads, which were a big hit.
My 6 yr old had a great time making these for Christmas gifts. They turned out really good. The craft was even easy enough for my 3 yr old to make one. I'm only disappointed I paid $7.99. Now they're half price. Great deal at only $3.99. Don't pass up that offer.

I belong to an ornament group of 12 members. We share ornaments each year--homemade. I am not a "crafts" person--no manual dexterity. I used these snowflakes this year--they went over quite well, even though I admitted to using an OTC kit--again! They were a little difficult at first, but by the end, going pretty quickly. I actually did another dozen then.
Pros: Assembly, quality, doable for a clutz

It's very hard to put the beads onto the pipecleaners per directions. Beads are very low quality. Not happy at all with this one. This really needed a wire form.

These were easy to make and turned out pretty. One bag only had small beads and several bags had busted snowflake beads. So order extra but all in all these are a great craft.

I bought these to use with my kids to decorate with and give as gifts. The pipe cleaners were way too long to begin with, so we cut them in half before starting and it worked great! The snowflakes are beautiful and easy to do. My 9 year old son and I were talking about adapting two snowflake kits to make one 3D snowflake--I think it'll be easy to do, and with the number of kits included, we'll still have plenty left over to make the usual way.
