This letter opener is perfect. It's super old school and rad. I didn't really expect it to be the 6 1/4", but it is and its okay. I would have prefered a letter opener that was slighty smaller. That's okay though it works perfectly when opening mail, it's super sturdy. I'm sure it will have a long life, and its also perfect for opening taped up boxes.:) would definitly give as a gift and/or recommend.
