I planned to use this with a large hairy spider but... the spider turned out nearly as large as this web. So, next plan was to hang the web in an opening between rooms but... the web is very square & unnatural. So it ended up draped over the television and we set the TV to 'snow' all evening. THAT was cool. Web's main lines are very heavy twine - should be ok outdoors, although we intended it for indoor.

This web has a bunch of problems. First, it's square. When have you ever seen a square spiderweb? Second, it's just mesh that's been bunched together with glue. Third, it's sticky. I first used it to cover a table, and had to take it off because everything stuck to it. Finally, it smells bad.
It is big, and will cover most of a door, but I think I'll be throwing mine out after Halloween.

Spiderweb doesn't look quite as 'spidery' hanging on the ceiling as I think it would in a doorway or wall. However, it does add a good decoration when an area just needs a little something else to make it complete without looking cluttered. Border is thickly bound, so it should hold up pretty well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
