This was such a fun buy! It's true that the maracas don't make that loud of a noise, but it's loud enough, in my opinion. I felt like the pens were well made, too. At the end of the party, I ended up giving the remaining pens to a friend who's a grade-school teacher, and her kids loved them.

I bought these for a luau they make perfect party favors!!! They are good in size, all come in different colors & they make plenty of maraca noise. They even came with an end cover so the ink wouldn't dry out! Great idea, thanks OTC!!! =)
