These are NOT 7 inches long. They are 7 inches wide. I think they measured the stretch of the arms? However, when you bend the arms up, the ghosts get smaller in size.
The bendable arms are soft. There's nothing sharp on these guys.
But, the fabric drape from their head to bottom is really only 4" or so. Thus, they are a whole lot smaller to hang in trees than those other ghosts that are plastic that you stuff and tie. I don't know how well they'd hold up outdoors due to their cotton poseable arms. And, they are as light as a feather so, they'd have to be really tied well in order for a gusty wind not to blow them away.
But, they are an adoreable, subtle decoration that can be hung most anywhere because they are so light. And, they are pretty well-constructed.

Did not look like picture. Fabric not sheer enough to see faces. Looks like hanging handkerchiefs. Overpriced for what you get.

I bought the ghosts to hang from a small tree outside my front door but the ghosts are so small that you can hardly notice them. There are 6 of them per package but I would recommend getting more than one package if you want them to be noticed.
I felt these were very cute but may be a bit overpriced for what you get

These arrived today and while they are charming, they are A LOT smaller than I expected. Doesn't quite seem worth the price.

They are really cute, easy to pose putting their arms out to varying degrees. They will last a long time - a really great purchase. I have them hanging from a silk tree in the living room - they add to the Halloween ambiance at a really affordable cost.
