I bought 2 dozen last year to give out to trick or treaters last year, but was ill so I put batteries in them and gave them out this year. I made sure they were turned on when I gave out the kids. All the kids loved them especially the little one who were absolutely enthralled by them. And I received loads of compliments from parents who said "What a clever idea!", "better than candy", (they got candy too) etc. It seemed to add a little extra to the kids fun and also had a very practical purpose. Not one of the 2 dozen flashlights failed. Excellent addition to a trick or treater's goody bag. You can bet that I will be buying more for next Halloween.
We gave these out as part of a work Halloween party. Kids loved them however, there were several that were put together terribly from the manufacturer, i had to fix a few of the bulbs and put them back in their place before i could put a battery in.

All my flashlights worked! Also nice that each only required 1 battery so that made total cost more reasonable. Gave them out to neighborhood kids to use for trick or treating, they loved the flashlights!

Kids ages 2 - 12 loved these...I forgot they needed batteries, but fortunately had a bunch. Some of the younger kids broke the top by turning the light.

I bought these for a school first grade Halloween party. The children loved them! I had no problems with them. (except I almost forgot about the batteries : o ) I bought a lot of them so I didn't care for having to cut open each individually packaged flashlight, but you can't beat the price. On this website, some people commented in their reviews on how small they are, but the size IS in the description. It was the perfect size for little hands. For the age that this is aimed at, the size and quality is appropriate. I'm a happy customer.

Gave them out at a preschool 4's party and the parents loved them for trick or treating. We used them for our kids, they hung them around their necks and left them on, helped make them visible without taking away from their costumes.
Pros: easy to use

While these are very cute for the give away I have planned, they are a lot smaller than I thought. I did test them all and they work fine.

These were perfect for our walk through the woods. I didn't have to worry about the kids dropping them because they could hang them around their necks. They also provided enough light for them to see the ghosts and witches that were hiding!
